On July 15, "Song Zhu You Lin • Tai Cen Ju Xing (Just like pine or bamboo often gather together to form a forest, the gathering of like-minded friends can make the business prosperous.) - 2021 Beijing Sino-Japan Innovation Cooperation and Development Conference" was officially held in Beijing Sino-Japan Innovation Cooperation Demonstration Zone.
The conference was organized by Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, Japan External Trade Organization and Beijing Sino-Japan Innovation Cooperation Demonstration Zone Management Committee, and hosted by Daxing Investment Promotion Service Center and Beijing Daxing International Business Service Co., Ltd. More than 200 guests, including representatives from renowned institutions, business leaders, experts as well as scholars, from home and abroad were invited to attend the conference to discuss the new development opportunities for Sino-Japanese innovation cooperation, aiming to promote the collaborative innovation of science and technology and win-win industrial cooperation between China and Japan.
Cheng Yonghua, Executive Vice President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Japan and Former Chinese Ambassador to Japan, Su Hong, Deputy Director of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, Nanasawa Atsushi, Minister of the Embassy of Japan in China, Takashima Ryusuke, Director of Beijing Representative Office of Japan External Trade Organization, Zhai Degang, a Member of the Standing Committee of the Daxing District Party Committee and Head of the Publicity Department, Gao Niandong, a Member of the Standing Committee of the Daxing District Party Committee and Executive Vice District Chief, Kong Lei, a Member of the Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, Zeng Linfeng, Deputy General Manager of Zhongguancun Development Group Co., Ltd., Lyu Kejian, an Executive Member of the Expert Advisory Committee of Beijing Sino-Japan Innovation Cooperation Demonstration Zone and Former Director of the Asian Department of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, Zhao Jinping, Former Director of the Foreign Economic Department of the Development Research Center of the State Council and Chief Economist of the Development Research Think Tank of China, attended the conference. Mu Qiru, Honorary Chairman of Zhaotai Group and Wang Quan, Chairman of Zhaotai Group were invited to attend the conference.
Beijing Sino-Japanese Innovation Cooperation Demonstration Zone was officially approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in October 2020, and serves as an important vessel of Beijing's "Two Zones Development" and has been counted as one of the key projects of Beijing's 14
th Five-Year Plan. It is the first and currently the only international cooperation demonstration zone with the theme of innovation cooperation in China. The future Sino-Japanese cooperative enterprises will make use of the excellent business environment and advantageous resources provided by the Demonstration Zone to implement in-depth cooperation in three major industrial sectors, namely, medical and health, advanced smart manufacturing and digital economy.
During the preparation phase of the conference, Zhaotai Group provided an excellent dialog environment for the exchange and communication between the representatives of the participating Chinese and Japanese enterprises, and made outstanding contributions in facilitating this Sino-Japanese innovation cooperation. During the appointment ceremony of the Expert Advisory Committee of the Demonstration Zone, Mu Qiru, Honorary Chairman of Zhaotai Group, was appointed as a member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the Beijing Sino-Japanese Cooperation Demonstration Zone; at the signing ceremony of the conference, Wang Quan, Chairman of Zhaotai Group, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Beijing Sino-Japanese Innovation Cooperation Demonstration Zone. This means that Zhaotai Group will continue to give new impetus to Sino-Japanese innovation cooperation in the demonstration zone in the future. Meanwhile, Zhaotai Group invited Tadashi Maeda, President of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, and Toshinobu Watanabe, President of Kiraboshi Bank, Japan, to speak online.
Beijing Sino-Japanese Innovation Cooperation Demonstration Zone is an ideal ground for Chinese and Japanese enterprises to complement each other's advantages and upgrade from 'manufacturing' to 'Smart Manufacturing' so as to gain higher level of mutual benefit. In the future, Zhaotai Group will make full use of its own strengths and fully integrate the advantages of Beijing's resources and the advantages of Japanese enterprises in science and technology to help Beijing Sino-Japanese Innovation Cooperation Demonstration Zone to build an international innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem with science and technology innovation as its core.
