On October 16
th, the 2021 First Sino-Japan (Chengdu) Cultural & Creative and E-sports Exhibition and Chengdu Nuclear Fusion Tour was officially launched in Hall 9 of Chengdu New Century Expo Center.
This event was co-hosted by Beijing Zhaotai Group Co., Ltd., and GCore (Beijing) Culture Media Co., Ltd., and was undertook by Beijing Zhuoyue Network Technology Co., Ltd. It was the first Sino-Japan (Chengdu) Cultural & Creative and E-sports Exhibition organized under the guidance of the Department of Regional Economic of NDRC and the Department of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce, with the support of Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Commerce (Office of the Leading Group for Promotion of Opening and Cooperation Demonstration Projects of Sino-Japan (Chengdu) Urban Construction and Modern Service Industry), the Management Committee of Chengdu High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Chengdu Municipal Expo Bureau. It was also an amicable communication meeting between China and Japan on the cultural and creative industry and e-sports industry.
The year 2022 will mark the 50
th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan. This Cultural & Creative and E-sports Exhibition created an exclusive platform for Sino-Japan economic exchanges and transnational cooperation in cultural and creative industry and e-sports industry, and provided opportunities and blueprints for cooperation and development of cultural and creative industry, such as games, e-sports and animation in China, Japan and even the world.
The game carnival of Nuclear Fusion Tour Chengdu Station was also held at the same site of this Cultural & Creative and E-sports Exhibition. In 2021, the Nuclear Fusion Tour Chengdu Station provided a "Tianfu Amusement Park" themed the "Amusement Park for Crew Members" for game fans. The organizer decorated the exhibition site as a flight game board, allowing the audience to recall their joyful childhood and be indulged in the spree with games during the two-day exhibition. During the exhibition, many major game makers brought their best works, and 40 teams presented their high-quality works, which offered a face-to-face communication meeting for game enthusiasts.
Cultural and creative industry and e-sports are two hot topics among contemporary youth. They are also two emerging industries with promising prospects. In recent years, cultural and creative industry and e-sports are developing at a fast pace. According to information, the 2021 First Sino-Japan (Chengdu) Cultural & Creative and E-sports Exhibition and Chengdu Nuclear Fusion Tour was known as the first cultural & creative and e-sports exhibition focusing on the Chinese and Japanese cultural and creative industry and e-sports industry. The exhibition was held to cooperate with the positioning and characteristics of Chengdu as a city of “Three Cities and Three Capitals” (World Cultural and Creative City, World Tourism City, World Tournament City; International Gastronomy Capital, International Music Capital, and International Exhibition Capital), and to create a smooth and efficient communication channel for the long-term and stable Sino-Japan cooperation on cultural and creative industry and e-sports industry. This exhibition will be held regularly in Chengdu every year in the future to explore a unique Sino-Japan (Chengdu) local development cooperation demonstration area. With a series of activities like nuclear fusion game exhibition, round table conference and e-games, the exhibition has shown the overall business environment of Chengdu to the world, enhanced its reputation worldwide, and built an exclusive platform for industrial investment and long-term cooperation between China and Japan.
With the success of the 2021 First Sino-Japan (Chengdu) Cultural & Creative and E-sports Exhibition and the establishment of Nuclear Fusion Tour Chengdu Station, we have witnessed the integration of emerging industries and the Capital of E-sports Culture - Chengdu. It has eliminated the obstacles in industrial connectivity and collaborative development and brought in a new historic opportunity for the development of cultural and creative industry and e-sports industry.
