On June 8, 2022, undertaken by Zhaotai Group, sponsored by the China Public Diplomacy Association and the Embassy of Japan in China, and co-organized by the Organizing Committee of the Photo Beijing, the China Artistic Photography Society, and the World Alliance of Chinese Photography, the “Forever Neighbors-Photo Exhibition to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Normalization of Diplomatic Relations between China and Japan” was inaugurated in the China Millennium Monument. By presenting photographic works, the exhibition aims to enhance bilateral cultural exchanges and mutual understanding between the two peoples. Wu Hailong, President of the China Public Diplomacy Association, Cheng Yonghua, former Chinese Ambassador to Japan, and Li Tianran, former Consul General of China in Osaka, visited the exhibition by invitation.
Featuring the themes of “Peace, Friendship, and Cooperation”, the exhibition showcased over 200 outstanding works that focus on people-to-people exchanges. Divided into three chapters: “Gaining insights by reviewing the history”, “Neighbors facing each other across the sea”, and “Looking into the future”, the exhibition reviewed the 50-year history of China-Japan relations. At the impressive, thought-provoking exhibition, every set of photos have captured the wonderful moments of our people-to-people exchanges, awing the audience with high artistic value.
